The Blood Bowl, also known as the Gates of Hell, is a small tunnel containing a runoff stream. The tunnel runs along High Street in Columbus, Ohio. The east end of the tunnel is kept obstruction-free by a gate of rusted metal that extends from each side of the opening, tapering to a small gap.
Background[]
The story of the tunnel involves a skateboarder or bicyclist who attempted to perform a trick, only to crash along the slanted sides of the culvert and die from the wipe-out. Some versions of the story involve him being dared to ride through the tunnel at night.

Trivia[]
- The legends about the tunnel never mention an actual gate to hell. The moniker is just a title. However, many states claim to possess an actual gate to hell.
- Occasionally, bodies are said to be discovered in the tunnel.
