The Ghost Cows, also known as the Ghost Cows of Farm Road 511, are a group of bizarre animal spirits that supposedly haunt Farm Road 511 at the southeast tip of Texas, near the Mexican border.

Farm Road 511 is a fairly well-traveled road, but it has been reported, in the local newspaper and other media, that people have encountered what are known as "ghost cows" in this desolate stretch or road in the middle of the night. As you drive down the road you may suddenly see a cow six feet in front of you and try to avoid it... only to find out that your evasive action was unnecessary, since there was never really anything there. Many people have gotten into serious accidents, causing great damage to their vehicles and person only to get out of their vehicles and find no sign of any animal or living creature in sight.
