The Ghosts of the Charles Haskell, also known as The Charles Haskell's Ghost Ship is a ghostly haunting a ghost ship while took place in Massachusetts dating back to 1869. It took place on a ship known as the Charles Haskell.

Background[]
During the winter of 1869-1870, while on the ocean near George Bank, a storm began brewing and the ocean beneath the ship began churning. In the midst of the storm, the ship accidentally hit a nearby Salem ship called the Andrew Johnson. The Haskell rammed into the Johnson, slicing her open. The Andrew Johnson unfortunately sank.
The ship was taken to port in Gloucester. One it was repaired, Captain Clifford Curtis took the ship back to George Banks. The legend goes that two crew members were on watch one night when they experienced a sudden chill. Suddenly, they witnessed dark, shadowy figures emerging from the surrounding ocean. There were ten in all, and the figures began climbing onto the ship. The phantoms quickly took up positions around the ship and began going through the motions of casting lines, setting the anchor, and other boating actions.
