The Jake is a Human mammal reputed to exist in Birmingham/ Smethwick, England. While no attack from this entity have been reported those who encounter it have declared feelings of unease while in its presence that many describe as "heeebie jeebies". Encounters are not limited to the West midlands but with sparse reports being found in other areas of England and Wales.
Appearance[]
The Jake is a Caucasian male that stands at an estimated 5'10. It possess long brown hair and a notably shabby fashion sense. While its exact clothing varies between individual encounters this is not by a great degree.
Possible Explanations[]
There are several explanations as to what the creature could be. Theories include:
- An undiscovered species (a Cryptid)
- A tall tale spread by locals
- A local wierdo

- Despite the true origin of the creature being unknown the name Jake appears to have always been synonymous with appearances of the creature along with all other references.
- While near enough all supposed reports have shown individuals becoming unnerved within this creatures presence, one report from an anonymous eyewitness indicated increased feelings of aggression that lead them and their friend to attack the being in which it has supposedly run away.
- The first reporting of Jake was February of 2006 in West Bromwich, in which it was initially described far smaller in stature than recent sightings have indicated. This sort of inconsistency raises questions around the validity of later testimonies.
