Morag, also known as Loch Morar Monster, is a legendary creature said to inhabit Loch Morar, located in Scotland. In 1948 when nine people claimed to have seen a serpent-like creature estimated to be about 20 feet long. The most famous incident took place in 1969 when two fishermen, Duncan McDonnel and William Simpson, reported that their speedboat accidentally collided with Morag.
Appearance[]
They described the creature as being brown, measuring between 25-30 feet long with rough skin and three humps rising about 18 inches above the water’s surface. During this encounter, one fisherman struck at the creature with an oar while his companion fired a rifle at it before it sank out of sight.

There are several explanations as to what the creature could be. Theories include:
- An undiscovered species (a Cryptid)
- A plesiosaur

- In February 1970 due to increasing interest in Morag. Despite numerous expeditions aimed at finding evidence of this elusive creature, no definitive proof has been discovered thus far.
